HiTemp Enclosed Gas Flares Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions

HiTemp is actively helping lower emissions of greenhouse gasses with our Enclosed Gas Flares, which are currently being used to reduce methane emissions from landfills. They accomplish this by using a system that mixes the methane stream with sufficient combustion air to maintain a consistent temperature assuring maximum destruction of any methane present in the exhaust gas.

HiTemp Enclosed Gas Flare Systems have several distinct advantages:

  • Modular, interchangeable components allowing easy access for repairs and maintenance
  • Basic control and combustion systems designed, built and shipped as complete unit
  • Operational in half time normally required for standard site assembled units
  • In certain situations, system can be operational within 3 to 4 months from date order is placed
  • Replacement parts and capacity increases can be made without major changes to basic design
  • Long operational life

Each HiTemp Enclosed Gas Flare System includes all the following:

  • Waste gas burner
  • Flame arrestor
  • Combustion air blower (VFD)
  • Waste gas ID blower (VFD)
  • Water separation drum
  • Electronic ignition
  • System alarm with cell dialer for Alarm text
  • Dual data logger for temperature and flow
  • Refractory stack
  • Weatherproof controls

HiTemp Technology has more than thirty-five years of experience with the design, manufacture, and installation of combustion, gasification, heat recovery and process heating systems. Our customers include:
